This investigator will follow the rule of law to the letter. This does not mean that an investigator is either good or evil simply that they will try to follow the rule of law as much as is possible. Some investigators who play as Law Abiding are The Federal Investigator, Researcher and Priest.
This investigator will follow the law when it is in their best interest. They will often bend the law or ignore the law if it stands in their way. An investigator who plays as indifferent does not have to play as good or evil. Many deviations from the law are allowed. The Police Officer, The Civilian, Private Investigator and the Lawyer all play as indifferent.
This investigator has no regard for the law and will break the law at will. This does not mean that the investigator is playing as good or evil. This investigator will obey the law only when it suits them and break it whenever it interferes. Obeying the law is always an option. The Investigative Reporter, Career Criminal and Conspiracy Theorist all play as social deviants.
